    Never expected that.

Wonder if he'll just be a family man for the rest of his life or if he'll start his own company.

    Link/source?

Might be the work computer blocking half the stuff on the page but I can't see this???

Nor is it on the Observer site.

wow shocking never thought this would happen i always got the impression him and steph didnt really get along wonder if that had anything to do with it

I guess he was angry that 'WWE Elimination Chamber' was chosen instead of his suggestion 'WWE Chamber Of Conflict'

Seriously though, this is a shocker. He'd hardly go to TNA would he?

    Surprised at that!!

Any clue anywhere as to why this has happened? bust up with Trips/Steph, wanted to retire, wanted to work in some other aspect of the entertainment industry, health problems.... anthing at all?!

Maybe he just doesn't want to become a laughing stock like his father?

I wouldnt be surprised if he went to TNA.

I'd be shocked beyond belief if he went to TNA or any other promotion, or started his own.

He'll either sit on his hole doing nothing or start his own media company.

wasn't there talk of him wanting to get involved with mma before??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,796 ✭✭✭✭Penn

Thats what I'm kinda thinking. He might try start his own MMA company. Or take over an existing one (doubt he could afford UFC).

I hope he doesn't go boring and get a job as Head of Media for Dr.Pepper or something like that. I'd like to see him again

Laughing all the way to the bank.

Suppose all the wrestling territories he put to the sword find amusement in him too.

i hope he doesnt do that either.. he's a 4th generation sporting promoter, so its obviously in his blood, i doubt he'd ever go head to head with vince, and with boxing at an all time low, mma is the logical step, strikeforce maybe??

That Wellness Policy is a bit off I'd say :pac:

    2 down, 2 to go.
just need to get vinnie and steph out and we might get the company on the right track again...

I think MMA is the way forward for him. He wouldn't buy TNA, or even join them.

I could even imagine a bit of cross-promotional stuff between Shanes MMA company and Vinces WWE if that is the route he takes

and with boxing at an all time low,

Really? How much prize money does Mayweather make per fight compared to the top ufc guys?

reallly indeed mayweathers last fight did a million buys, less that lesnar vs mir.. plus the two boxing heavyweight champs wont even fight each other

    This all looks odd.

    At first I tought storyline.

Not so sure now. If he wants to achieve some success as an individual rather than share it with steph and HHH its a good move for him.

Don't see a fight lined up between the top heavyweights in mma anytime soon either, but that's off topic.

On topic, it'll be interesting to see where he goes from here anyway. If he does go into MMA I'd imagine a lot would be skeptic about the "reality" of it.

Guys you all missed the real reason I'm afraid; Vince said as part of the new era he can't jump on garbage cans anymore and he threw a hissy fit...

i would love its a massive marketing ploy of some sort - more then likely he is off to form some other venture (rollerball leagues?? )

Rich man, but still made a show of himself repeatedly the last few years. Shane-O will happily retire at the age of 40 and live off the profits, with his dignity reasonably intact.

Not sure what the territories have to do with Vince acting the clown on national telly.
