Probably Hard Core Team DM. I rarely play anything else.

Okay, that does it. Flashpoint isn't just disappointing, it's riddled with stupid decisions to the point of being unplayable.

I'm fighting at the airfield. I got killed, so now I'm getting sent back to a checkpoint. After the biblical age it takes to load, I spawn right beside an ammo box which immediately explodes and kills me and my entire team. Every time. Now, that's not where I was actually killed; the game is trying to "help" me by hurling me into the middle of an explosion.

Stupid freaking game.

My soldiers keep flinging themselves out of cover for no reason at all and more than once, the medic has run up to help me only to then have some sort of mental episode and quietly sit down to watch as I bleed to death. I had no idea the rate of mental illness among serving members of the American armed forces was so high.

On one other particularly notable occasion, the enemy soldiers all forgot how to fall down after I'd killed them - a whole field of dead guys with guns. Just standing around as we walked by. Eerie.

Damn zombie commies.

Incredible trustworthiness of the item in question aside, funny stuff.

Your post on the other hand was a tl'dr affair for me I'm afraid(also whole thread), I just cant bear the subject matter any more, I hear enough of that when I go to a skirmish, your shop, feck, even in my own home at times :eek:

Sorry if I seem a little cranky today, I got knocked off my bike last night.

It just goes to show that you can be riding along minding your own business, obeying the rules of the road, not listening to an iPod, wearing a yellow jersey with reflective piping, having all the right reflectors on your bike and lit up like a @£;$%&* Christmas tree, and you can still be knocked down by a selfish inconsiderate pr!ck driving a Land Rover Discovery who turns left in front of you. The b@stard hadn't even got the grace to stop.

Thanks to the student from DCU who helped me up. Thankfully the only damage was some scratches to the bike and a sore knee for me. It could have been much worse.

Though if Thirteen would like to pop in and check me out, I could put on a brave face and bear up.
