Zyxel P-660HW-T1 v2 dropping WiFi

I've recently got the Zyxel P-660HW-T1 v2 modem. While downloading large files (e.g. 150MB) it keeps dropping the WiFi and the downloaded file gets lost, wasting my download limit. I know it can't be my machine or location as the Netopia modem I used previously worked perfectly. Is there some setting I need to change?

would need more details.

are you using WEP, WPA1 or WPA2 ?
what operating system, XP,Vista.. ?
what wireless adapter, is it the usb g-202 that came with router?

What isp are you with? vodafone?
