Soil Pipe Vent Minimum Diameter?

Can anyone tell me what the minimum diameter can be for a vent for a soil pipe? Standard bathroom in standard house. Thanks! Current vent was (smashed last week) 4 inches or so - old cast iron.

Sizes of Stack Ventilation Pipes
1.2.26 The diameter of the part of a discharge stack
which serves only for ventilation (the dry part above
the highest branch) may be reduced in one and two
storey houses, but should be at least 75 mm.

In practice - this may not be so useful as it will be simpler to connect 100 to 100 pipe

The OP asked for the minimum diameter of a vent for a soil pipe which is pointed out as being 75mm.

Thanks a million guys. Had a plumber who was under the impression that the vent should be the same diameter as the soil pipe.
