I quite liked this image but it seems not everyone agrees as it's had relatively few views. Should I have left it in colour?

    I love this thread. :)
So much diversity in style and some really good quality pictures.
Only problem is there are so many that I like but I don't have the time to comment on them.
Right, I'm off to find one to post.

Would love a little critique on this image.

Took it down in Scariff Co. Clare back in August.

Anyone here see the movie Blow Up? It's a great flick about a photographer (based on David Bailey) that takes some photos in a park in London, and on printing the negs, finds a dead body in a park, but it's really small, and he becomes obsessed with reprinting to try to get detail on the body.

It's one of my favorite movies by a long shot. Yesterday, after dropping a friend off to college in the RCA, I went for a walk in Hyde Park. Off the beaten track, what do I find...

    That's completely unstaged btw.

Luckily, the advent of digital meant I spotted the speck when I took a break by the lake, so I went back to investigate further...

I thought about it for a while, wandered back, poked him with a stick, and he woke up and walked away. I was morbidly disappointed.

Ok, heres my two cents worth.
At first glance its a great picture. I love the tones and sharpness of it.
The only negative may be that the focus should be on the hands and not the machine.

Wish I hadn't posted this now.
I'm no photography expert so what do I know,
It's just that sometimes I see someone asking for critiques
and not getting them so I thought I'd chip in.
