    Disappointed that it's on the 24th considering how many people get paid on the 25th!

    Thought the marketing department would have done their homework on this one ;)

    A stunning lack of foresite not to look 250 years into the future, he should have waited at least another day to sign that bitch

    Cheers to Arthur for producing a stout so bland i'd rather drink water. To the stout brand that is now mass produced by Diageo, a British company, where everything is about the image, the colour and the two part pour, and where how the stout actually tastes is of little importance. To the company that, in terms of employment, systematically favoured one religion over the other for over 200 years. Yeah i cant wait to toast Arthur tomorrow alright :rolleyes:

    I agree, Guinness Draught is bland and watery, but real Guinness (a.k.a. guinness extra stout or whatever they call it now) is lovely. It's as good as any other dry stout I've ever had. Can't understand why they never promote it in any way.

    I wonder why the headline "Sewage Plant Workers Prepare for Dark Matter In The Morning" isn't on the news

    While I enjoy a pint. I'm not too pushed about cramming myself into a pub that serves bad pints anyways to see some mediocre bands perform insipid tunes all in the name of marketing.

    Still though I might be tempted to have one or two in a quiet pub somewhere, away from the hordes trying to figure out where Kasabian Chiefs, Razorbabes and Sugalight are playing.

    How can anybody take part in this money making sham? Why would you want to be a cog in the wheel on a multi national company's Marketing plan.

    Just had a 17:59 pint in Tampere after college where they are giving out scratch cards with each pint and won a free one!!!

    Then with my free one....I won another free one:eek::eek:

    I usually never drink in Finnish Irish bars since guinness is nearly 6 euro a pint but I said I'd have one today since they are 4 euro..and now I got three for 4 euro.

    Plus the added bonus of hot finn's rubbing me for luck, it seems like an unofficial paddys day here so for me it's food and then to celebrate 17:59 Irish time

    Marketing ploy or not I don't care:pac::pac:
