Question for the Bacchus experts here, I'm really interested in purchasing a Bacchus strat, but I can't find much info on the G-Players vs the BS-54 / 62's. I want to go for the handmade Japanese guitars

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Also if anybody has seen any on line could they point me in the right direction

A few of the lads on here own 'em - Quattroste and Alan Strainor own two particularily nice examples. Quattroste's in particular absolutely rocked my socks off. I'm sure the guys will come along and offer some good advice.

In the meantime head on over to the Tokai forum (if you haven't already) - theres a new Bacchus forum on there with some very knowledgeable guys.

I have a G Studio and BST62. The G Studio I have is maple capped and SSH configuration. It has a treble booster build in too. I wouldn't say it is a typical Strat sounding guitar. There are Strat sounds but there is more too.

The BST 62 which is the guitar Boycey is talking about is an amazing guitar. It is the easiest Guitar I have ever played and so well built. I bought it of Hisashi on Ebay. Good guy and very trustworthy. You'll need to factor in VAT etc if you choose to buy from Japan.

Check out his shop on Ebay.
The G-Players use cheaper woods but are still handmade, The G Studio is a SSH configuration and the BST54/62 are high quality hand built repros of the Fender 54 and 62 models.

If you want to try one out let me know.

You guys probably know, but it looks like Bacchus are gonna start selling in Europe:

The guitars look really nice but they're expensive.
