How long is a piece of string? Fas run evening classes it cost's about 450 for ten hours instruction in a hgv truck.

I take it you have never driven hgv (C, category) and if so about 10 2 hour lessons and I would look for One on One training. Some courses involve 2 or 3 pupils to one instructor. I WOULD NOT recommend this.

Cost: 1000 euro average 10, 2 hours lessons and do them 2 per week not all together.

If you are not working you may get help from the Fas, remember One to One training.

    Regards

I am going for my c license and I'm just wondering the difference between the C and C1? Do I have to do my test in the lighter catagory or can I go straight for the big one?? Does it work similar to the A and A1? Thanks Guys.

Once you have the C licence it covers you for the C1, so you'd be better going for the C licence, best of luck with it.
