    Well, thank you anyway. My research showed that the word is gri' an, and according to Irish grammar, I believe the ' means the second syllable is stressed. Question is, is the i pronounced ee, or aye? I thought an Irish chat room would be the place to find out. Unfortunately, not many in Ireland still speak Irish I discovered. What a shame.

    well there is an irish goddess called aine that is pronounced enya but i only know that because i looked it up on wikipedia. I'm not even irish they just let me play here. I think if you look around there is a forum for irish language but this one really is for silliness and fun.Yes there is its in the Soc. form then languages and there is one for irish go to top of this page - click on Soc and tabs open Sure some one here can help you better
