this weekend I shall be mostly be watching my new tv.

how's that car you were fixing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,579 ✭✭✭Webmonkey

    Nice pic.

The car is fine, I've gearbox and clutch off. Unfort, the release bearing is smashed and you cannot generally get part alone without buying full clutch (200 + euro!, funnily enough only £35 from ebay.co.uk - rip off here) but a guy I know that is a sales guy to motor factors arranged so I could collect one from distributors in Cork tomorrow morning. Nice of him.

I can continue again once I've that. It's a huge job and dunno if its worth it but it's keeping me going :)

the shipping is probably a dose from the UK with ebay though.

if I ever get around to buying a house I'll buy an old car to work on - I've always wanted an MX-5.

Ah, shipping was only £9 infairness. Can't go wrong :D

Yeah, something nice about getting away from the computers :D

the last time i ordered the brake cable for my car off ebay it took well over a week to arrive. its almost like the royal mail know when you actually need a thing and leave it laying on a special shelf for a few days just because they can

    3/5. nice idea, good setting.
too much use of too many cliches - shaky cameras & mocumentaries.
good characters and some nice acting.
