UPC HD recording problem

    I've encountered a new problem with recording on my HD box, and am wondering if anyone else has seen this?

    I set series to record and select the series link option. It then does not record the first episode, but does pick up further episodes if they are on later that week ( the standard 'not yet available' problem applies to nex weeks recordings).
    Sometimes it does not even add the first episode to the planner, even though that's the one I initially selected to record.

    I'm pretty sure my dvr is faulty, as I'm having trouble with the hdmi connection being unreliable. And i'm hoping the recording problem is a symptom.

    Series link never worked on mt Digital + box and now that I got the Digital + HD box it still doesn't work.

    It's missleading advertising to claim they have series link. Cause they don't for half the ppl out there

    Same problem here. I seem to have missed the first episode of each HD series I recorded, but every subsequent episode seems to have recorded. Afraid I can't offer any insight on problem.
