    If you are from Waterford, you have no doubt heard of the Health Service Executive (HSE) intentions to close St. Bridgid's Ward, in St. Patrick's Geriatric Hospital, Waterford.

    I am making this thread to make readers aware of a Petition website that was created to halt the recently-announced plan to close the ward.

    Please if you are reading this then please go to the following address and sign the Petition:

    On a further note if you have an hour or 2 free on the 23rd September 2009, then please come along to St. Patrick's Geriatric Hospital, Waterford, as there will be a demonstration that day whilst several HSE officials will be visiting the Ward.
