peacock butterfly pic

    well it's either a great summer for butterflies or i'm just in a good spot for them. here's a peacock butterfly pic i took a couple of days ago on rathlin island (co antrim).

    the rspb have just opened up a new clifftop walk on the island on land that they are maintaining as chough and wildlife habitat.

    Saw quite a lot of them in recent weeks in Wicklow, mainly around forest tracks where the foxgloves were out in bloom.
