Did you see it in 3d or regular?

Regular I think. However if that is the difference between a good and a bad film, then I'd feel slightly cheated.

This is the type of film which could really benefit from 3D. Inventive deaths and lots of stuff flying from the screen.

But then if it's really a deal breaker then should only show it in 3D, otherwise you are ripping off the audience as well as selling your own film short.

I don't know, it's the kind of film which if enjoyed in the right mood can go down a treat. It's the sort of film to be watched with a few beers and some pizza on a Friday night.

Oh no I'm not dismissing it in that regard. I'm just saying that if it looks as underwhelming as I thought it did in 2D, then it would best if they showed it in only 3D. But I don't know, maybe not all cinemas are equipped for 3D. I just checked my local cinema and they are showing it in both 2D and 3D. So in that case I don't know why they don't just show it in 3D.

Saw this last night in 3D,used to work in a cinema and got invited in to watch the staff preview, was only 2 of us watching it,everyone else watched funny people!
anyway ive seen all the other final destinations and enjoyed them but the 3D ads a different dynamic to it,alot of objects come flying out of the screen towards you almost making you duck or wipe blood off your face!storyline is the usual final destination storyline..
People are at a race track,a whole series of events lead to a huge accident, lots of people die then you realise it was just a vision one person had, person panics and gets few people to leave, accident happens and then death stalks survivors...
In all the 3D really improved the viewing for me and would recommend seeing it in 3D if possible, also there were only 2 of us watching it,im sure with a full cinema the atmosphere would add to the enjoyment! Also saw a 3D Avatar trailor before it,looks very good!

Damn so it looks like I failed miserably in going to see it in 2D. :( Ignore my review in Film Reviews so. :pac:

I loved it :D The acting wasn't great at times but i loved the action scenes as it really did look like it was right infront of me in 3D.

I thought the 3D made it worse.
The explosions (more than any other Final Destination I'd say) looked very fake. Also lots of cheap deaths with things just squashing people.
I was hoping the 3D would have made it the best Final Destination, it just made it the worst.

I guess I was just hoping for
a 3D version of the Highway log scene from 2 but abusing the 3D aspect much more. The raceway group death scene is also the weakest out of the lot.

My Bloody Valentine 3D was a much better 3D horror-ish flick.

Anyone know if there's much of a price difference between seeing it in 2d and 3d? does'nt seem to list a different price on the website (Vue)
Presume you're given the glasses when you pay and give them back at entrance to screen at the end?

Never seen any final destination film until this. Found it to be in the "so bad it's good" category. Definitly couldn't imagine getting much enjoyment out of it at home, on dvd and without 3D. In the cinema though it was silly but fun.

In cineworld it's €1.50 extra and you keep the glasses (not that they're any use)

I loved the first 3. I think they should make 12 more.
