    Hey
quick silly question, today my pedal didn't work... I mean the LED is on and bypass sound works fine, but as soon as I turn it on... no sound...
is it just batteries or something else?
anyways, I'm buying new batteries this evening so hopefully its just that.

It's probably the batteries. What pedal is it?

did it happen suddenly? if so it could be something other than battery. with a battery, sound usually degrades gradually first

Sounds like the battery especially as it's a big muff, they can sound quite good with a dying battery. If it still doesn't work with a new battery open it up and see if anything's loose inside.

You should buy yourself a power supply. Cheaper than batteries!

Was it the battery that came with the pedal? The batteries that ship inside pedals are really short, only meant for checking that the pedal works. Big Muffs, as with a lot of fuzz pedals, don't draw much current at all. A proper battery will last yonks. I got one about a year and 10 months ago and only changed the battery once (from the cheap one to a proper one). Granted, I got a Diago power station in the summer. The battery made it to about May on its own.
