the new format is rubbish! the live audience is usually a Round 2 thing. so what are they going to do for round 2?

also in the old frmat there's no music in round 1 which is much much better!

I'm sure you know why already, even Cowell pointed it out.

Friends of the family. They speak like that IRL. It's not put on, believe it or not. I've known them personally for several years and that's the way they are.

It's the fact that he just oozes charisma and looks like a natural which impresses me. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he has previously had a recording contract.

Simon said the teacher was the best first audition he ever heard. But nobody would be able to pull off that kind of audition without a stage, backing music and live audience, which we only have for the first time this year!

Still thought he was great though!

  • i'm actually in love with that teacher!! How would anyone be expected to sit in his class and get any work done?!!:D

The teacher was fantastic... preferred it without the audience.

Yeah but the reason that guy gave such a fantastic performance is because he was able to feed off the presence of the audience. So I'm happy enough with the new format.

It suited him fine.. but will not suit the majority of people.

It's essentially "Britain's Got The X Factor" but without red X's to buzz them off.

Nothing wrong with the format they had.
