dreambox: Another Cable Thief

hello everyone, i'm just woundering if someone out there can help me,my wife but my dreambox dm 500-c back to factory setting and now even do i seem to be able to rescan the channels back in the screen is just blank,is there anyway of getting the channels back or is the box now bandjackeds,be greatful for any help,thanks.
