Is there a limit to how many subjects you can repeat externally?

I heard that you are only allowed to repeat one subject externally and if you failed more than one you must repeat internally. Is there any truth to this and is there any reason why a college would not allow you to repeat externally if there isn't any course work that needs to be handed up during the year?

The only person who should answer this query is the exams officer in the I.T. (phone: 059-9175178) If you need to repeat talk to them.
