    hey gang

    hope yer all well

    iv just installed ubuntu, but i still wanna be able to use my ipod

    is there any way i can transfer tunes to my ipod with ubuntu

    Rhythmbox I think supports that, Songbird also does

    Ya rhythmbox should do the trick. What kind of ipod is it though? I'm not sure if some of the newer ones like the touch are supported.

    If your ipod is setup to automatically sync with your itunes library, as is normally the case in windows. Make sure you disable this first.

    I got stung over this before, and gtkpod wiped the ipod clean. :mad:
