Can xbmc read ral files?

    Can xbmc real real media? i read somewhere it can is this true?

    Xbmc can read almost anything, and yes it plays real media files!

    I've yet to find an SD format it doesn't play, hopefully it'll support HD soon in a newer build

    Can it play mkv files? it have read it can but not too good. Has anyone used it for that?

    Yes it can play mkv files but the xbmc has nothing to do with how it is played. Xbox hardware is the bottle neck here

    Do you mean its not powerful enough? so even if xbmc gets updated it wont help?
