    You should be ok, considering you are a Gentoo user:D

    Gentoo to this day, apart from LFS, has the most intimidating install
    of any *Nix I have used. FreeBSD handles partitions a little different.

    100% agree with that. I learned loads doing it though. Even reading the LFS manual taught me loads.
