    Help!
    Something strange has happened. I lost connection to the server as my character was moving between eastern plaguelands and ghostlands. When I tried to log back in, I choose the same character, the loading screen comes up and then a message flashes up "A character of that name already exists."
    Then returns me to the character select screen.

    What's going on?

    5 mins then try again.
    Havent seen that problem for years. Then again I havent played for years.

    You need to delete your toon and start over.

    SNAP! just happened our ele shammy in 5v5. 5 mins and you'll be able to log back, just takes the server a while to kick you.

    This problem blows ass when it happens in raids, sucks that it still happens to people - myself included sometimes :(
