    can anybody tell me whats up with the moon i have never ever seen it this orange or big in my life??????

    It's the atmosphere scattering the light that makes it orange, and it only looks big because it appears closer to the horizon

    I had a look outside there, the moon is indeed very orangey tonight.

    I'm in conamara, I see no moon either.

    I'd say he's looking at it through a quality street sweet wrapper, giving the moon an orange colour.
