First of all, please learn where the "Caps Lock" key is and turn it off...

To address the query, I don't think the number of HD related threads suffice to introduce a seperate forum. Issues related to Sky HD can be dealt with in the Satellite forum, and issues related to the forthcoming UPC HD service (there will apparently be an announcement made in the next few weeks, according to weekend press reports) can be dealt with under Cable/MMDS. General queries under Broadcasting.

Certainly with combo Terrestrial/Satellite boxes and other developments we may need to look at reorganising the forums.

    I agree with ICDG:
HD doesn't warrant a separate forum and probably never will. The same distribution systems are used. Basically from the point of view of the Forums here it's simply HD resolution and an HDMI connection on the Setbox. Some TVs with Digital Terrestrial or Satellite tuners built in can also receive HD.

There is the http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=863 for Home Theatre viewing HW and http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=232 for Content.

New Forum requests go here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=461

Feel free to Create a new thread on HDTV Forum, explaining what the content should be. It's not up to ICDG, Byte and I.
    Don't be shy!
(but do figure the caps lock because SHOUTING WAKES UP the Dragons!)
