Ducts at Foundation level...

We are starting work on our foundations tomorrow, with rising walls to be started next week.

I am trying to plan what ducts need to be accounted for at this stage. Apart from the usual of waste, water etc has anyone got any useful tips on things that would be worthwhile ducting for at this stage.

    Any help appreciated!

Ducts for fuel lines to gas cooker and/or oil boiler etc, often forgotten, especially if a last minute change occurs when she decides the cooker must be gas (while fitting the kitchen).

Ducts for electrics to outbuildings, patio & exterier lights etc
    Duct for radon sump vent.

Duct for rainwater harvesting system, for "earthtube" (poor mans geothermal) system.

If you use a stove you might weant a duct to bring outside air in to feed the stove/range??

Consider an external garden tap: depends on layout whether it needs considering now

Provide a drain to your kitchen island unit ( often the cause of kango if forgotten )

Bring 6 ducts into the utility
    gas
    water
    esb
    ntl
    eircom
    spare

expanding foam is so much easier than the kango
