Keeping Standard Digital Box

Hi, I'm upgrading from Digital to Digital+ tomorrow (UPC). Does anyone who has been in this situation know if the technician will take the old digital box with him (or her) after installing the new box? The reason I'm asking is because if he doesn't take it, that means I'll be able to have digital in another room (at least…

Hi,

I'm upgrading from Digital to Digital+ tomorrow (UPC). Does anyone who has been in this situation know if the technician will take the old digital box with him (or her) after installing the new box?

The reason I'm asking is because if he doesn't take it, that means I'll be able to have digital in another room (at least temporarily anyway). Or will the technician ask for the card from the old box to insert into the new one?

you need a multi-room subscripition to have two cards

Aye, new DVR box (and card) goes in, the old box comes out and is taken away in the van. You need to pay an additional €8.50/month if you want to keep the original box, and have it relocated to another room.

There are no Free or FTV channels on Cable.

Additional TVs need additional subscription.
