    Heya.
Im in an acoustic duo at the moment. Two guitars. One lead singer and one back up singer. I want to add some percussion to our live gigs.
I recently seen a JBT video where he is using some sort of foot drum.
Im sorry, I dont know the proper name for it.
What is it, and where can I get one?
    Thanks in advance.

I have no idea if you can plug it into the pa,would assume you can. I have a magazine somewhere that has a little write up on it. if i can find the mag i will let you know what it says about it. The magazine was guitar world so maybe even check out their site

Your pic is not showing for me.. I remember seeing something similar to what you are asking about..If memory serves, it was a Australian company who made them, and yes they could be hooked up to a PA.. lemme do some checking..

Edit - Is this it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_RIkTBsKJM&feature=channel

Thats exactly what Im looking for. Cheers.
When I googled "foot drum" all I got was information on some "farmer footdrum" which I certainly do not want.
So its a stompbox Im looking for.
    Thanks.

Afaik it's just a piece of wood with a piezo in it for picking up the foot stomps.
It'd be fairly easy to make one for cheap. :)

Yes. Johns one does look pretty primative.
I dont think I'd be able to make a decent one myself.
Would prefer to buy one of those miniature stomp boxes. They look very portable.

There's a guy who gigs agound Bray area, plays lead guitar while sitting with a base drum and high hat on the feet and sometimes plays snare depending on the tune and then back to lead, some sight.
