UPC Mediabox DVR

Ok got a new UPC Mediabox DVR from NTL. On the back of it is a USB port. Ive put my usb stick into it but cant find any way to access it. Does anyone know if its possible to use the USB port on these for the use of playing music or videos from the usb or even using the usb for external storage from the DVR.
