    Anyone use these for recording? How do you find them. I was thinking of getting one for some lo fi type stuff..maybe combine it with some other bangs and clangs..bedroom recording really, but not sure of what to get...

    sounds pretty good in an "indie/rock" type scenario tool. I must save some pennies and get me one...

    combining it with a tambourine on the foot to act as a type of cymbal or play it with brushes would be handy...

    I remember seeing a build your own cajon set being talked about on here before...might be some use if pennies are tight.

    TO be honest they are a nightmare to mic but there a few out know with inbuilt pickup systems I would recomend taking a look at.
