Cork to St. Vincent's Hospital

Hello all. Could anybody tell me an easy route to St. Vincents University Hospital coming from Cork by car? Someone has told me to get on the M50 from the Red Cow roundabout and then take the exit for UCD and it's not far from there. That sounds straightforward but maybe it is to them but not me! But I have to use a wheelchair so maybe their not far might be miles to me!!

I've never been there before so feel like a right hillbilly heading for the big smoke!!

Also if I got the train to Heuston Station, how long approx would it take to get to St. Vincent's by taxi?

Would be so grateful for any advise. Thanks!

That is the M50 exit you should take to Vincents. Once you get to the Stillorgan dual carriageway (N11) having come off the M50 it is straight down until the right turn off the Stillorgan dual carriageway just before RTE. You will know it with the large Radio mast interrupting the skyline

Depending on the time of day it should take about 30 minutes from Heuston.For gods sake don't ask the taxi to take you via the m50 from there though,it would cost you a fortune.

If you're driving up, St Vincents has plenty of disabled spaces to park in. I think there are disabled spaces near the doors - go for those as I think the drag from the multistorey public carpark could be a bit much in a wheelchair.
