lapierre rcr 500- how do i make her strong?!

hey gang

i have a lapierre rcr 500, its flat bar racer and im here in germany, and i want to bring the bike over, i need a bike that will need to be able to go over a little bit of cobble stone every once in a while, and i also need to go through the woods etc, just on gravelly surface, perfectly smooth

is this ok for this sort of terrain?

it has carbon fibre forks and the wheels are right off a racer?

if you think the bike isnt solid enough to go over his sort of terrain, can you please recommend some mods i should consider doing to the bike to make it work!

No mods required. Road bikes can take a lot of abuse.

Maybe find some slightly more knobbly tyres for the gravel, if you have the brake clearance.

edit: tyres like this, 30mm is pretty narrow but check clearances. Possibly an option to fit long reach caliper brakes.

brake clearance is down to fork and seat stay length and not the reach of the brakes - the mount is still in the same place in relation to the rim.
