better to wire up to the other room is it handy to do or buy a better transmitter?

    wire.

All the legal video senders interfere with WiFI and vice versa. Only some work with remote as most are 38KHz band and some NTL/UPC boxes use IRDA.

Hi, I I would like to know which av senders will work on ntl/chorus boxes which use irda for the remote control function. I can safely say that the lidl welltech sender does not, but it'd be a good piece of kit for sky etc.

I know maplins have some, but they're pretty expensive, anyone know of any cheaper options?

Phillps I think has one. (Used to be in Argos)

IRDA support mentioned on product is what you need.
