I was just wondering where is the best place to advertise an instrument for sale, either online or otherwise. I already know of Adverts.ie, any other popular site or places?

Went on ebay.ie there. Its not very user friendly at all. And ya have to pay for the add. I know its only cheap but havin ta get out your credit card for a 30 cent add is a bit Irish imo. Anywhere else?

Gumtree as Dord said. Also buyandsell although the latter has gone very user unfriendly in recent times.

Adverts is pretty good because it gets a lot of traffic, a tonne of people put their stuff up there. Stuff like the buy and sell are pretty slow in comparison now.

Adverts.ie is the best place imho to sell music related stuff these days, everybody knows the going rates for the stuff nobody gets ripped off and all is well, price your items properly and they will sell in no time, and the users I have dealt with Have been cool, real nice guys
