I should probably know this, but I can't seem to find the section of dcu.ie that explains this, and googlan shows up no useful info. Could any of you later-yeared people shed some light on how this system works? I failed one module (maths for scientists, got 29% overall), but did quite well in the other modules. Can I compensate? What are the parameters in which you can compensate?

People are obsessed with compensation. There are no rules for it really, sometimes they decide to let you, generally if you get above 35 sometimes 30.

If you could have passed it by compensation you already would have, if it says fail next to it, you have to repeat it.
