    Right need a bit of help choosing a guitar.
    I'm stuck between a used 1993 american std strat for 500
    and a new highway one tele for 670

    Can anyone give me some opinions?

    They are both totally different in terms of sound so if you are looking for something particular go with that. A new Std Strat will set you back about 1000 so it seems like a good deal. If you are looking at Highway one teles I would also look at the mexicans since they are about the same level as a highway one as of the last few years and are about 100 euro cheaper.

    Depending on how worn the frets are on the Strat, it seems like the better deal. Though if you want a Tele, get the Tele.

    Can you play them? If so, see which one you prefer the sound and feel of and go for that one.
