So i was up in the big smoke lastnight for the ACDC gig in punchestown last night which was an excellent gig by the way but it was a complete and utter disaster getting in out of from dublin city centre. It took 4hrs to get there and nearly 3hrs to get out.
Mcd are a bloody disgrace and have alot to answer for:mad:

On a lighter note and apolygies for the rant i visited xmusic on the way home this afternoon and i must say i was very impressed with the whole setup.
Big open premises with different departments and everthing well setup in fairness, definitley long overdue in this country to have a proper music store.
I didnt really try much out but there was a good selection of gear,i was hoping they might of had some more mesaboogie amps as im looking to try out a MarkV but they havent been released in europe yet unfortunately.
Will defo go up there again when i decide to splash the cash:D

I'd phone first just to make sure they have what you want. On a few occasions, today included, they didn't have an item I wanted in stock, not sure about expensive items, but they tend to go through the avarage stuff, stands, ect, fairly quick and rarely seem to have them in stock. I do agree with you though,it is a nice shop in terms of browsing, great amount of stuff in it.
