No resits? Were you talking to them?

How they find the OSCE and MCQ?

I know a few of them and have been talking to some. From what I heard, there were no complaints. Both OSCEs and MCQs were easy enough according to who I was talking to. Well done to all!

hi all , i passed the EMT today, found the osce's easy enough, was a bit woried about the questions cause you never know . . .some were very easy and others could be very close in answers or there may be two or three right answers for the question and you have to pick the most relevant. got through it anyway :)

What I would be worried about would be the fact that because so many people are passing the NQEMT MCQ's that the PHECC panel might start to make them more difficult, thinking that there must be some sort of flaw if there is a 0% fail rate.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm aware people are capable of studying hard , but just keep your eye on PHECC, they might become a little cautious in how they form/phrase the questions in the near future, might even change alot of them.

Also, congrats to those who have passed already , best of luck tho the hopefuls in Nov. ( IRC EMT Student class ).

PHECC wont change the type of questions anytime in the near future. There is no talk of it and usually there is four years of "talk" before PHECC implement anything in regard to exams!!!!!

MCQ are hard, but as you said dub, people study really hard for them!

Just to add there has been failures in the recent EMT Exams.

I personally know one of the guys who is on the NQEMT exam panel. He is one of the most decent people I have talked to from PHECC.

I would have no doubt that if something had to be done, it would be done.

As you said NGA, MCQ are sometimes difficult , and rightly so.

I would suspect that those on the first few panels would be above average in their study , ability and such.

You would get a more even distribution when the EMT become the norm and not for those who are overly eager and such.

It's not possible to be overly eager when your looking to advance your medical skills from a personal point of view, just go slow and take it one step at a time and gain experience before moving to the next level , but by god are there cowboys in the vols that I would advise to stay the hell away from the course.

I did't mean it as a dig, just if your on the first few panels you tend to have put a bit of effort in.

If you are/were in anyway involved with amb svce/vol amb then you would know what I was stating.
