"Coroners have officially pronounced Michael Jackson dead. From what we can tell, he died between 18 and 20 years ago," forensic investigator Tim Holbrooke said. "We are not certain, at this time, who—or what—has been standing trial in that Santa Maria courthouse."

Is this actually true or is it a hoax or publicity stunt or something?

it actually not all that detailed, just watched it there in HQ., also noticed the jumpyness of the screen when he was zoomed in and the light on the side of the rifle doesnt change much even though the character is turning.,:(

Like I said, it's a game for grown ups. People more concerned with bullet path than with how shiny the gun is.
There also stands the rather probably possibility that the guy was playing it on a naff computer. I'd say throwing it on a decent rig will result in a heck of a lot better looks.
Op Flashpoint looks a bit crap now, but I still play it. That game transcends graphics.

AHAHAHAHA! Awesome. The weather is about to turn rough hours before I head for Florida for two weeks. Perfect timing!

Actually, according to the long range forecast on weather.com (who I find are extremely accurate), you've got a couple of scattered days of rain here and there for the next week, but the temperature will remain fairly good.

Well I was actually running it on high graphics settings, the second highest setting.

The lag can be explained by the stupidly large amount of stuff going on..
And if the graphics didn't slightly lower their quality at range my pc would be splattered all over my Walls at the moment..

Oh that was your vid? I thought it was some random YouTube one. What spec have you got it running on?

Moggser, that won't bother me. I've an iPhone with season 7 of CSI: Miami and season 3 of The Unit to amuse me for the duration.
    Enjoy your rain...

Brilliant bit of fun, its hard to get used to but once you start getting kills its so much more satisfying than the likes of cod 4 or 5.
Is it still popular or had any updates recently?

I played the original beta when the team first released it. I was in a clan, but then COD4 was released and all those f#ckers ported over. I still havent played my copy, sub par graphics. Got it on 360 so I was never arsed to spend 150 on a new radeon to run it. Ayways, I left it then, but meanwhile its grown loads. Steam realise how good it was and added it to their contentservers. Much more accesible now. Must re-install it. I love the RPK, I killed sooo many marines with that beast.

Its like Dods but modern, and brilliant:)

    lads, quick question there.

I've been planning on buying some airsoft equipment for an age.

I only noticed yesterday about these new laws that are coming in about importation of guns etc.

Is it much cheaper/easier to get good equipment from overseas*? Is it worth my while going to the trouble of making some purchases before these laws come in?

*If so, what websites do you use?

things can be cheaper overseas but you have extra costs like shipping and customs might make you pay some money and if somethings wrong with what you bought you cant take it back

    here's a few websites

    www.rsov.com

    www.ehobbyasia.com

To be honest, given the aforementioned hassles, customs/shipping charges, little or no recourse if what you've bought is broken/not what you ordered and the fact that customs can be a bit hit and miss with regards to airsoft and have been known to delay some goods for quite some time, I find it's easier to buy most stuff in Ireland. You'll find a lot of the Irish stores are quite competitive in terms of price, especially when you factor in the extra service they provide (by way of warranty and repairs) and the cost of shipping and customs. I do still order some stuff from abroad, and the websites listed above are great places to order from (there's also ebaybanned, redwolf and gunner) but I only tend to order stuff from overseas after I've checked that no Irish retailer has it in stock or will be getting it in.

So in short, ordering from abroad can sometimes be more hassle than the money you save is worth and I tend to only do it if what I'm after can't be got from an Irish retailer. That's my personal view on it though.
