Wrestlemania 26 Packages/travel plans discussion & advice

I'm going to make sure I check this thread daily to find out about the travel packages. Seems a great place to find out the latest news on Wrestlemania 26.

I went to Wrestlemania this year, had the time of my life and hope to go every year from now on. Just hope I can get a travel package this time around.

Welcome aboard. Kane-N-Nite, Brolly and Haz should be able to assist ya good and proper, as they practically dominated last years Mania 25 thread. And if Kane-N-Nite can't get the info on this thread before anyone else, I don't think anyone can.

I'll be expecting this thread to go off the scale on Monday too.

Lower tier as close to centre for me if I go again.

I was in VIP risers last year, and while not bad, it's hardly a 'rise', more like 2 inches every 3 rows.

I think if they have cancelled this monday sale, it'll take a month or so to solve their problem. If it was a matter of days they'd send an email saying 'monday sale cancelled till next week'... Again, it's just my opinion.

Finally booked my flights there now. Goin the heathrow route direct to las vegas. Myself and a mate of mine are Headin out on the thursday 25 and have a couple of nights comp in the rio. Goin to get an internal flight up to pheonix on sat morn and stay up there until tues. then back to vegas where we have a comp room from the tuesday till mon then return flights on mon the 5 th from vegas.:D Return flights there now from dublin to Las vegas set us back 560 euro each. All we have to sort out now is a room in pheonix, the internal flights with us airways and off course the WM and raw tickets.

Just me mate, last time i was in vegas i stayed in the Flamingo and got one of them reward cards (you sign up for it when u check in and its free). Did a bit of gambling but nothing major and not major stakes either, but anyway everytime i played on rapid rolette or slots etc i stuck in this card into the slot provided and gain i suppose loyalty points. Ya know it might be worth ringing and tryin to contact somone in upper management at the hotel in vegas first and try to get some or all comp nights during your stay, lets face it the recession is hittin hard and its better for these hotels to have people gambling with comp rooms, that having empty room and no guess's gambleing. I'll be in the US from 21st till 30th, but I don't know where I'm arriving until they tell where will be RAW before mania... Hopefully it'll happen in Vegas and then I'll be there sunday until thursday, then head to Phoenix for ROH!!

Welcome aboard. I'd say those Superstars tapings were pretty decent. Slamboree 96 was also good for what it was too.

I have just received this email from WWE. I think add RAW tickets and 4 night hotel will be great!!!

It would be better imo if they:

Scrapped the Midday Madness, Axxess etc and included the 4 nights and Raw tickets.

That´s what I sent to them!!

I have just received another email from them:

"Which package would you prefer…

I'd love to know where Raw will be on. I checked WWE.com's live listings but their live events only go as far as the Royal Rumble.

Im surprised by some of the questions they are asking. They can keep the Raw tickets, Id much prefer to pick our own seats for Raw. I want everything else included like last 2 years though.

As regards Raw hopefully itll be in the Jobing.com arena so we dont have to travel that far.

When they announced Mania last year, they said the weekend includes Raw being in the same city, so my guess is it will either take place at the:

- "US Airways Center" - Home of the Phoenix Suns
or
- "Jobing.com Arena" - Current Home of the Phoenix Coytes (the team may be moving cities for the upcoming season.)

Though the Jobing.com Arena is beside the University Stadium, looking at the hotels, all the big name hotels are in Phoenix, along with the US Airways Center. My guess is the travel package hotel will be closer to the US Airways Center, than the Jobing.com Arena.

WWE does have a SmackDown/ECW taping scheduled for August at the US Airways Center (they are in Las Vegas for Raw the night before.)

Also another close city to Phoenix, is Tucson (2 hour drive,) which has held Raw before, so they could always hold SmackDown after Mania there. (For SummerSlam weekend they are running LA, then Las Vegas, then Phoenix.)
