i am totally into freebies, but does anyone think about the waste of paper etc? like the usb i tried to get from some college last year and the amount of prospectus that i got. it's a bit of a waste really. and i didn't even get a usb.
there has to be a balance between just getting stuff we don't even want just for the hell of it and stuff that we actually do want.
I mean, I love getting post, but still....

Mt theory on this is simple. The person who made your freebie got paid, the people who supply the materials for your freebie got paid, the person who dispatched your freebie was paid. the post man/woman was paid, and if you don't use it!! the bin man will be paid.
Every freebie you order is creating employment.

Do competitions count as freebies? Culch.ie are doing a Dublin on a Shoestring book giveaway and there's not a huge amount of competition so far. All you've to do is give them a tip on how to save money in Dublin.
