Hi, i have had a lot of registered contractors ringing me saying that to finalise the grant application the homeowner must provide the Uvalue  of the roof space after its been updated with new insulation. The house has not qualified for the BER assessment, just cavity walls, new boiler etc under the HES scheme.

How can SEI ask for the new Uvalue of a roof from an insulation contractor:confused: This has to be filled in to finalise payment of the grant for the homeowner.

Anyone know why SEI are asking an untrained insulation contractor for a Uvalue when clearly the majorty wont have a clue.
