I know The Sports Lounge in Fairview/Ballybough have a popular one running at the moment, nice few quid offered too from what I can remember.

Darky Kelly's on Fishamble St have Karaoke on Friday nights, but whilst its not a competition its very popular and followed by that type of crowd so maybe you'll get some info there.

Ain't me thing (I detest it in fact) so can't help you more than that.
