I've been out this morning taking photos wiyth the good book in hand. I went to places referenced in the book and then asked random stangers to hold it open on the relevant page. Been to Fumbally lane, Prussia St and Arbour Hill. That might do for today as a quiet corner, a chapter and a pint is calling.
It's my folks 51st wedding anniversary too so I'd better start thinking along some lines there.
And no I didn't dress up like a twat. Well no more than usual.

I was planning on spending the day drinking whiskey with David Norris while touring the book's locations but apparently that's not a valid 'personal day' from work. Bastards!

Instead I will spare an auld thought for Jimmy Joyce and raise a pint of Guinness to him on the way home this evening.
