That sounds really familiar. I know I definitely put down 30m though. :)

how did u do the jeweller one...de volume of de block was 25 cm and he needed 240 mm to make 1 ring

    1 riiiinnnggggg

    1 cm3 = 1000 mm3, not 10. So it's 24,000/250.

ehhh is that the same as 24/.25 then? ...

I know. I'm also pissed off that nobody mentioned the terrible legibility of the log tables!

All government-issue log tables are like that, our exam ones are no different from any others. They've always been like that because no-one who has any power in the department of education and science can be bothered to get off their a*se and change them.

I know, me too. It took me ages to figure out to change the 3, 4 and 5 cm at the top and then multiply it out.

Yeah, that's what I got. And the answer was 96 rings wasn't it? And €20 was the answer to the next part?

96 rings is definitely right. Can't remember if €20 is right, it's not ringing any bells but then I can't think of anything I might have written for it (and I didn't skip it) so you could very well be right.

    paper to was eaaaaaaaaaaasy!
but i found one tough enough..
hopefully a high mark in paper two and a average-lowish mark in paper one will balance out to about a B..
