Daemon tools alternarnative?

    Hi guys,

    Im lookin for a Daemon tools alternative that'll work win Ubuntu based systems. anyideas?

    Don't need it, the mount command does everything Daemon tools does. It's basically what Daemon tools is based off. :)

    To mount a cd iso, just create a directory (/mnt/iso in the below case) and do this:
    $sudo mount -o loop  -t iso9660 Disk.iso /mnt/iso

    If you're running a recent version, you can just right click on an ISO file
    and select "Open with Archive Mounter".

    That's of course if you don't mean the older daemon-tools...
    The ones that kept services running before the dawn of time.

    There's gisomount in the package manager but I couldn't mount some images with it.
