he certainly isn't..he is a good tipster still though..just proves to stop while you're ahead or the bookies will get it all back

no need for the insults but anyway, I was merely questioning why you would quit while you are ahead. But you are obviously a gambler in the truer sense of the word( ie. you lose) if your line of thinking is that the bookie always gets it back.

    Win x 2

By the way, thanks Mike for keeping this thread going, I keep an eye on it daily. Interesting stuff!

Yeah I'm keeping a spreadsheet with the bets I put on from Pricewise. Today's was awesome! I put a tenner each way on the horses and a fiver on the combo if there's 2. Don't do it everyday but I'm up a decent amount so far (2 weeks-ish). Covered my Rip van Winkle loss in one fell swoop thanks to that today.

I like when a thread comes together, that said I am still doing this for fun so very small stakes (about 2 euro total 2 singles & a double). Also had a 4 timer in a Canadian and landed two wins in the Guardian tipping competition, so I've prolly used up all my good luck for this week.

Good stuff lads, once someones making money!

I'd only put the occasional pricewise bet on. 5er on the nose or a 10er on the place.

Can be difficult to get them at a similar price though. Oh well, can't complain :D

Dean Iarracht is into 7's now and Paddy Power are refunding bets if your horse is beatin to second by a neck or less.

Thorny Mandate would be mine for the 9.15 at Chester

Ya little beaut! Opera Prince didn't place but the other 2 won, had them in a double at 65/1 as well as 2 singles.

Wow. These tips are good! I never heard of Tom Segal until now. Must start following these tips more often.

Ah no most are the selections of Mel Collier, Tom Segal only tackles weekend races (which are often at the big prestige meetings). At this stage the thread title should be changed I guess. Collier has more and 'lower quality' races to find winners for but does pretty well.

Now I dunno what happened but it looks like Segal came up with two later selections and I missed them and they both won
RACING POST Pricewise tipster Tom Segal was in sparkling form on Saturday, advising York winners Swiss Diva (14-1) and Kavachi (10-1)

I'm well pissed off! So to be consistent
Swiss Dive 14/1 York 15:10 win
    Kavachi 10/1 York 14:35 win

    Todays selections (so far)

    Grace O'Malley 16/1 4.30 Cork
    Markington 9/2 5.10 Doncaster.

Are you betting on the horses to win or to place?
