Couple of questions on DART travel from Balbriggan to Sydney Parade

Hi, sorry to have to come on asking these questions but the Dublin.ie and IrishRail websites are less than helpful on the matter.

I'm going up working in Dublin for a week and staying in Balbriggan. I'll need to head to Sydney Parade for work.

I'm just wondering about the following:

    1. How long (typically) would that journey take by DART?

    2. What price, roughly, should the fares set me back (do they come in single, return, etc)?

    3. Dublin.ie tells me that there are weekly adult rail, bus/rail, luas/rail tickets available. How much would these cost? Again, I can't get the info on the site, it just tells me to call to the travel centre on lower abbey street... and I can't find a number.

Also... re: 2 & 3 above... I'm up working from Tuesday to Friday inclusive, staying with friends in the city centre on the weekend, and then working Monday & Tuesday (and staying in Balbriggan again, leaving Dublin after work Tuesday evening)... would I be as well off sticking to buying a ticket for that route on the days I'm travelling from Balbriggan to Sydney Parade, or would I make a decent saving on a weekly ticket?

Very grateful for any advice and assistance on this matter.

    Cheers, Xiangjiao.

The dart doesn't go from Balbriggan. It only starts from malahide. You can get a main line commuter train from Balbriggan to Sydney parade.

    See timetables here: http://irishrail.ie/home/#
It will take around 60 minutes one way.

    Fares:
    Adult Single €4.30
    Adult Day Return €8.00
Adult 7 Day Rolling Rail €30.50
