    never heard any russian hip hop, but there's loads of wicked romanian hip hop, it's a great language for it..

    loving the drum and bass coming out of russia at the moment - bop, dephecta, dissident, electrosoul system etc are all KILLING it!

    I'm a native Russian speaker. There are so many swearwords in that language that just lend themselves to hip hop. Especially the word "blyat", which doesn't really mean anything at all, but it is a swear word. If you say it at least once in every sentence, you will sound properly rude. It's like using the word "f@cking" for not much reason. With language like that, you have the ingredients for perfect hiphop.
