Smoke over Dublin

Hey all, Yesterday (sunday 24th may) I was in Dun Laoghaire around 1, and looking over towards the docks/liffey we saw a huge plume of black smoke rise up... anyone know what that was about? Thanks, _Kar.

Lots of fires lately apparently. There was one at the top of Whitworth road yesterday (25/5/09), the phibsborough side of it. Was coming past @ 8pm and there was a fire engine racing towards a huge pillar of smoke coming from along the railway line. Anyone any other info?
