beard trimmer

Hey
Looking to buy a beard trimmer. Im not looking for top-of-the range gadget but something less than 50 euros
that does the job.
Can anyone recommend one?

I use a little philips jobbie, saw them in the bottom floor of arnotts in dublin recently, can't recall the price but probably not more than 30 euro. If I want to be tidy or accurate, it takes a second or third run over, but usually it's a 20 second buzz and I'm happy with the result.

Argos have one for like 20-25 quid its a babiliss men. thats not the correct spelling but its a decent little thing for its price an also does a grand job !

How close does it get it? I've some old one that still leaves it a little bit too long. I'd invest in one if it gave the day 2/day 3 stubble look.

Well its the first ive bought so i cant compare to other ones i mean its pretty close (could be closer) but for the price its a bargain !

I've got one of the Babyliss for men ones, it's fully adjustable and can go from very short stubble (1 or 2 day?) up to a short beard in terms of length.

i use one of these...has a liitle vacuum in it....less mess that my older one...

battery life is reasonable too

I have this one too.
Honestly, along with my laptop and guitar, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made, in terms of usefulness and longevity.

I use a normal hair shaver for my beard and it does just fine! The Babyliss has been used twice in the last two years, it tends to struggle through thickness!

I have a Babyliss one that comes with all the attachments, 5 cutting guides, oil, scissors and cape all in a handy case, it holds a charge well and I use it on my beard as well as my hair.

Saves me a fortune.

Picked one up in boots (own brand) for ten euro before. Does the job, grand.
Edit: Used on a light beard.

I have this one and it's a very neat inexpensive piece of kit.

Argos seems to have sales deals in this type of equipment. I was looking recently for a beard trimmer. For me it was a bit difficult to decide which one. As mentioned above -if your beard is really thick and you don't keep it short - ordinary hair trimmer would do the job. for shorter and not very thick beards maybe babyliss /has different levels,some of them start 0.5mm /for me it was too expensive. but look in the catalog /the paper one/ and you decide price/functions ratio.
